If the year of COVID has taught me anything, its that resiliency is vital in every facet of life.

Get knocked down; get back up. Hit a dead end; find another route.

Family is the same way because with our loved ones, we don’t have a choice but to be resilient. There are plenty of bumps in the road… But you have to stay the course and be consistent. Dust yourself off and keep on keeping on.

Rallying everyone together as a united front is a theme I see constantly in my work. One parent told me, “I am his Mom. I am put on this earth to take care of him and nothing can stop me from doing that.” Those are words I will never forget, because they truly embody the way families keep getting back up no matter what knocks them down.
